Agustin Iglesias

Born in Spain in 1973.

A lover of art in all its facets, painting, sculpture and music from an early age. I tried all these branches of art and finally stayed with the realistic and hyperrealistic painting style ...

Autodidact, my work is due to the effort, attention to detail and lots of practice. I’ve always used acrylic for my paintings. I love fast drying, allowing me to several layers to work quickly.

In the year 2010 I began to offer my work and then had a quick acceptance. Right now there are paintings of Agustín Iglesias scattered all over the world. United States, United Kingdom, Italy, Australia, Spain, Russia, Argentina, Singapore ...

In the year 2011 I collaborated with writer Canadian Pearson Moore in his book “Lost Identity”, contributing with 18 of my portraits of the famous TV series “Lost”. At the time, the writer said this: “Agustín Iglesias portrait artist is the best I have ever known,” said Moore.

“His work is not only visually stunning, but his mastery of the craft in each drawing brings out the essence of the character. I am honored and humbled that Agustín Iglesias have agreed to collaborate in this venture with me. “

I have done two exhibitions with other artists in Spain. My future project is to make 15 paintings

of the same theme to create my first individual exhibition.
